Workshop 2016 - Quantum Dynamics and Functional Inequalities

March 14 - 18, 2015
Heinrich Fabri Institut
(Blaubeuren)

Lecture series by:
Michael Loss
(Atlanta)
Benjamin Schlein (Zürich)
Kenji Yajima (Tokyo)

The large part of this workshop is devoted to N-body quantum dynamics and the effective description of the time evolution in suitable scaling limits. Both bosons and fermions will be considered. A smaller, independent part will informed about functional inequalities and their connection to certain evolution equations.

Abstract of Michael Loss can be found here
Abstract of Benjamin Schlein can be found here
Kenji Yajima will hold lectures about the "Existence and Regularity of the Propagator for multi-particle Schrödinger equations".

The invited speakers will give about 10 lectures of 90 minutes each addressed to graduate students and postdocs with research interests in the general area of the workshop. For all participants board and accommodation in the Heinrich Fabri Institut is provided free of charge. Travel expenses are covered for the invited speakers only.

This workshop is now fully booked.
Registration is not possible anymore.
