SWAN South West Algebra Network - First Workshop

For the invited speakers, rooms have been booked by the organisers. All other participants are asked to contact a hotel directly. Please note that at the time of the workshop a major fair is happening in Stuttgart; thus booking early is strongly encouraged.

A few rooms have been blocked for participants in the following two hotels, for the night September 17 to 18. When booking please mention the SWAN workshop and that Ms Hicran Gencer has made the reservations.

International Student Hotel
Flyer German/English 		Neckarstraße 172, 70190 Stuttgart, +49 711 / 414300: Located in the city centre, within 20 minutes walking distance from the main train station; 25 minutes with U-Bahn and S-Bahn from the institute.
This hotel is run by the university; it is by far the cheapest option listed here, in particular when choosing rooms with shared bathroom. There are discounts for students.
We have blocked double rooms (with bathroom, 70 Euros per room) and single rooms (bathrooms to be shared, 45 Euros). Please note that bookings have to be made before August 1.
Römerhof - Kulinarium Nicely situated in a beautiful natural setting. The university is easy to reach by car, but not by public transport. We have blocked single rooms (September 16 to 17: 62 Euros, September 17-18: 108 Euros).

B&B Hotel Stuttgart-Vaihingen Schockenriedstraße 33, 70565 Stuttgart, +49 711 / 220950: Located within 10 minutes walking distance from the station Vaihingen (two stops by S-Bahn to the station Universität) and 45 minutes walking distance from the institute. There is also a bus connection to the station Vaihingen.
IB-Hotel am Wallgraben Wallgraben 119, 70565 Stuttgart, +49 711 / 7876100: Located within 10 minutes walking distance from the station Vaihingen (two stops by S-Bahn to the station Universität) and 45 minutes walking distance from the institute. There is also a bus connection to the station Vaihingen.
Relexa Waldhotel Schatten Magstadter Straße 2-4, 70569 Stuttgart, +49 / 71168670: This hotel is located in Büsnau, 30 minutes walking distance from the institute. Alternatively, there is also a bus connection.
Pullman Stuttgart Fontana Vollmoellerstraße 5, 70563 Stuttgart, +49 711 / 7302300: Directly at the station Vaihingen (two stops by S-Bahn to the station Universität), from where the university can be reached by a 30 minutes walk.
