Georgios Raptis (Regensburg), Combinatorial model categories, I - III.

  • Abstract:
The theory of combinatorial model categories introduced powerful concepts and tools from accessible categories to homotopical algebra which have proved very useful, especially in dealing with homotopical issues of set-theoretical nature. The theory applies to many model categories of interest, and moreover, it is in a certain sense a homotopical generalization of the theory of locally presentable categories. In this series of lectures, I will discuss some of the main aspects of this theory.
