Steffen Oppermann (NTNU Trondheim), The image of the derived category in the cluster category.

Abstract:
Claire Amiot has introduced cluster categories for algebras of global dimension 2 (based on work by Bernhard Keller). In my talk I will sketch Amiot's construction. We will see that the cluster category always comes with a natural triangle functor form the bounded derived category of the algebra. I will report on joint work with Amiot, in which we study when this functor is dense (unfortunately we do not have a complete answer to this), and, in the case that it is not dense, what can be said about its image.
