On a unification of exact categories and triangulated categories.
Abstract:
In this talk I will give a candidate notion to unify triangulated
categories and abelian categories (and more generally, exact categories). If
the time permits, I will also mention to its higher-degree analog, which
unifies n-exact categories and n+2-angulated categories. This talk is based
partly on a joint work with Yann Palu, and partly on a joint work with Martin
Herschend and Yu Liu.
