Generalized Kac-Paljutkin algebras and generalized symmetric groups.

Abstract:
This talk is a continuation of my talk from last year. I will briefly recall the construction of generalized Kac-Paljutkin algebras H_m,n and their inner-faithful actions on non-commutative Noetherian domains. Then I will report on some progress made by Sebastian Halbig, which establishes an isomorphism of algebras between H_m,n and the group algebra of generalized symmetric groups. This allows to parametrize all irreducible representations of H_m,n by multipartitions of m with n components.
