Non-Trace Modules over Gorenstein Rings

Abstract:
In this talk we'll discuss ongoing joint work with Peder Thompson and Hailong Dao to identify trace modules up to isomorphism over commutative rings. We'll focus on some results about the relationship between non-trace modules and modules with no self extensions and what they imply about the structure of Gorenstein rings over which they exist.
