Derived invariance of support varieties.

Abstract:
In this talk we will survey on the theory of support varieties for finite dimensional algebras. Furthermore, we will report on joint work with Chrysostomos Psaroudakis and Øystein Skartsæterhagen showing that the support variety theory of an algebra is stable under derived equivalence.
