Geetha Thangavelu (IISER Thiruvananthapuram), Permutation modules of the
walled Brauer algebras.
Abstract:
The walled Brauer algebras arise in the context of Schur-Weyl
duality where the general linear group Gln
acts on the mixed tensor space
of its natural representation V and its dual. In this talk, we will see a
construction of permutation modules of direct product of symmetric groups
and the walled Brauer algebras which is similar to the construction of
permutation modules by Hartmann, Henke, Koenig and Paget for cellularly
stratified algebras as well the construction from Inga Paul's paper. We
prove that if the characteristic of the field is other than 2 and 3, the
permutation modules of walled Brauer algebras can be written as a direct sum
of indecomposable Young modules. This is a joint work with Sulakhana
Chowdhury.
