On some representations of the symmetric group
S2p.
Abstract:
We review some results on the block of weight 2
of the symmetric group S2p. The motivation is
the higher Auslander-Iyama-Solberg
correspondence as introduced by Cruz and Psaroudakis.
As a consequence of our joint work on the study of relative dominant
dimensions of S(2,2d), the
higher Auslander-Iyama-Solberg correspondence restricts to a correspondence
between a class of Schur algebras and Temperley-Lieb algebras.
This should generalize to a correspondence between Schur algebras S(2,2p)
and analogues of Temperley-Lieb algebras over characteristic p,
which needs input from symmetric groups.
