Richard Dipper, A basis of the q-partition algebra.

Abstract:
The q-partition algebra is isomorphic to a subalgebra of the form eSe of the q-Schur algebra S for some idempotent e in S. We use this to exhibit a basis of the q-partition algebra as part of the standard basis of S and investigate how this relates to the orbit basis of the corresponding classical partition algebra.
