Alessio Cipriani, Projective and quasi-hereditary perverse sheaves.
Abstract:
While simple perverse sheaves have an explicit description,
projective perverse sheaves are in general not well-understood. I will show
that, under suitable topological assumptions on the space one considers, one
can inductively build projective covers of simple perverse sheaves. This
allows one to realise a category of perverse sheaves as modules over a
finite dimensional algebra A. Finally, I will discuss under which further
topological conditions the algebra A is quasi-hereditary.
This talk is based on joint and ongoing work with Jon Woolf.
