Quasi-hereditary algebras and birational morphisms of smooth surfaces.

Abstract:
Following Bezrukavnikov, I will show that a full exceptional collection in a triangulated category allows to construct a t-structure whose heart is equivalent to a category of modules over some quasi-hereditary algebra. I will use this construction to associate a quasi-hereditary algebra to any birational morphism of smooth projective surfaces. Then I will describe in more details the structure of the obtained quasi-hereditary algebras.
