Bo Chen, Gabriel-Roiter measure and representation type of finite-dimensional hereditary algebras

Abstract:
In this talk, the Gabriel-Roiter measure for finite-dimensional hereditary algebras will be discussed. In particular, we will characterize the representation types of quivers using the Gabriel-Roiter measure. More precisely, it will be shown that a quiver is of wild representation type if and only if it admits infinitely many Gabriel-Roiter segments.
