Morphisms in the bounded derived category of a gentle algebra.

Abstract:
This talk presents joint work with Rosie Laking and David Pauksztello (Manchester). We classify all morphisms in the bounded derived category of a gentle algebra. In particular, given two indecomposable objects of the bounded derived category of a gentle algebra, we identify a basis for the set of morpshisms between them. In order to do this we use Bekkert and Merklen's beautiful description of the indecomposable objects in this derived category, in terms of homotopy strings and homotopy bands.
